Conley

Well, 2010 was a big one for Conley. He has lost 7 teeth total now, he just turned 8 on November 1st and is in 2nd grade. He goes hunting with Trent every chance he gets, but refuses to get blood on him....fine by me!! He has a really good camera and loves to try and do professional stuff, Alex who is living with us for 2 more weeks, has taught him a few things to do. It's so fun downloading his camera and seeing what he has done. He has been playing Little League and loves it.. He is a great big brother and cannot wait for the new baby to come. He got to go to Grandma's house for a week for the first time on his own.....he can't wait to do it again. We have 9 chickens and it is his job to care for them......and talk to them......and pet them......and hug them, he IS the chicken whisperer. It's too funny! I love that he can read me a bedtime story now and he loves to write his own. My oldest is getting old!! He's a good kid and I love him very much :)

Notable in 2010......and some of last year.

Lists. I LOVE lists, dunno why, but I make them for everything! So this is the way in which I will recap.

*August 2009: My Dad passed away and was buried in Twin Bridges, MT. He is much better off where he is now.
*We did NOT get back into the school Conley had been attending and had to make a split second decision where to send him during the funeral since school started days later. It did not, however, work out very well for us.
*Soooooo, we bought a big, new house in the school area we wanted and we are currently renting our other home out......stress!! We moved in the beginning of February this year. But worth every moment.
*Well, good thing we bought a bigger house! Baby #4 (a boy) is due Valentine's 2011!! I have been pregnant at the same time as 3 sister-in-laws!!
*Trent's work is going great, very busy, which now brings us to hunting season (even busier) and the holidays. We have been very busy without very many other big moments. We have been very blessed and can't wait to see 2011!

I hate Facebook!!

I'm tired of it!! Do people really not know how to function without it anymore?!? Yes, yes, I know, I even got people started on it, but now I regret it. Conclusion: if you not ACTIVELY participate on Facebook......you do not exist. Emailing rid of us letters, cell phones rid us of cordlesses, texts have replaced phone calls, and Facebook has replaced blogging. Well.....I'm rebeling!! I will go retro and blog again, well try anyway. I'm too isolated and alone anymore to go without some online attempt to keep in contact with people, but it does require that you return the favor. I'll try if you will.........

And to sum it up:

*Carson ate his own poop while in the tub, then threw it across the bathroom.  He did NOT like it.  Neither did Mom.
*Preslee asked me if I was "her pimp".  Where she got that word from in the first place, I do not know.  Please don't let her ever ask that in public. (awkward)
*I took Preslee to the ER on Friday because she has a soft, squishy spot on her head about the size of a 50 cent piece.  She feels and acts fine.  In fact, the ER was the highlight of her night and she impressed everyone that worked there with her enthusiasim.  We will continue to watch it.  They think it was from being hit in the head with a Mr. PotatoHead (thank you Conley).  Hopefully it goes away.  Very abnormal, they had to confer with each other before they sent us home.
*Another cold, wet soccer game.  Conley's team won.  He has improved so much!
*After 2 years, yes that is correct, my 6 year old can now ride his bike.  He hates to do it!!!  But, we hope (fingers crossed) that he will get excited and become braver now.

We had a great Easter and are looking forward to company this weekend.

p.s.  Red Grandma...the Easter box was a hit!!

Oh Baby!!

My 11 month old is walking, sad and great at the same time.  Who knows if I'll see another one do it.

Conley played his second soccer game in 4" of snow. What a trooper!! He scored 4 of the 9 goals, he's doing so good. We took the kids to see 'Monsters vs. Aliens' this weekend, they thought it was great. T-ball started this week too. Life keeps getting busier. Carson is walking, whenever HE wants to, no amount of coaxing does it. If I want him to walk he won't, the little stinker. Conley got his first cavity and loves how the gas makes his lips feel.
